Ngoc Linh ginseng is Vietnam's national treasure: PM
(VOVWORLD) -Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc has visited a ginseng farming zone in Dak To district, Kon Tum province.

During his visit on Wednesday, the Prime Minister praised the Ngoc Linh-Kon Tum Ginseng Joint Stock Company’s success and called for better serving of local people’s interests. He said Ngoc Linh ginseng is Vietnam’s national treasure which could generate jobs and better living conditions for local farmers. He asked ministries and sectors to uplift the produce’s comparative advantages thorough extract technology, genetic source protection, breeding and research.

Later in the afternoon, PM Phuc attended in inauguration ceremony of the National Center for Research and Development of Ngoc Linh Ginseng in Dak To district.
