(VOVworld)-The national flag carrier Vietnam Airlines on Friday launched the first direct service linking the central resort city of Nha Trang to Moscow.

The flight on a Boeing 777 took off from Cam Ranh Airport in the central province of Khanh Hoa in the morning. Vietnam Airlines Director General, Pham Ngoc Minh, was speaking at the launching ceremony:“We expect to open more direct flights between Cam Ranh Airport and destinations in South Korea and Japan as well as the Middle East. More flights will be opened to link Nha Trang and Indochine tourist hubs too.” The national flag carrier plans to increase the new direct flight to two in October when the peak travel season begins for Russian vacationers.
