(VOVworld) – Nha Trang Sea Festival 2013 will open in Khanh Hoa province on Saturday. Previously, the coastal city of Nha Trang held a number of activities highlighting the seas and islands. The Me Trang Coffee Joint Stock Company opened the festival of the seas and islands by featuring models of Truong Sa (Spratly) island and the sovereignty landmark. Luơng Thế Hùng is Chairman of the company’s board of directors: “Besides raising funds by selling our coffee products at the festival, we also call on all the enterprises and entrepreneurs to visit Truong Sa and contribute to the fund.”

During the festival, Nha Tang will display an exhibition of photos, maps, documents showing Vietnam’s in Truong Sa and Hoang Sa archipelagoes. The Khanh Hoa UNESCO Association plans to release a 200-page book entitled “Epic of the seas and islands” written by Vietnamese authors who praise bright, patriotic historical examples of the nation’s defense of its seas and islands.
