The project will help Vietnam further integrate into the global production value chain, and become a destination for innovation in the region and the world. The project includes training courses on Artificial Intelligence (AI), the Internet of Things (IoT), and Big Data for about 200 students from several member universities of the Vietnam National University, Hanoi and FPT University.
This is part of a memorandum of understanding to cooperate in education and high-tech development for Vietnamese youths, signed between Samsung Vietnam and NIC in October, 2023.
The three-month courses from May to August 2024 combine core future technology skills with soft skills and practical work experiences.
Upon completion, students will receive certificates and apply their knowledge at the Innovation Tech Challenge. They can also attend free Korean classes and meet engineers at Samsung's Research and Development Centre in Vietnam.
