(VOVworld)- Approximately 50 people were killed in an attack conducted by Boko Haram, a Muslim extremist group on Sunday at a college of the University of Agriculture in Gujba town, Yobe province, in north eastern Nigeria.

The same day, Boko Haram conducted 2 other attacks on villages, killing at least 27 people. For the last 4 months, the Nigerian army has waged a campaign against Boko Haram insurgents in the group’s bastion in the north eastern region but has not reached a significant result. Boko Haram’s attacks take place every day, and have killed hundreds of people.
