NIKE and Intel plan to expand operations in Vietnam
(VOVworld) - During the working visit to the Oregon State, Vietnamese Ambassador to the US Nguyen Quoc Cuong met with Nike and Intel Groups’ leaders who affirmed that they are operating efficiently in Vietnam and planning to expand operations in the near future. Both praised the Vietnamese government’s recent measures to stabilize investment production following the unrest in May in some provinces. Nike hopes that the Trans Pacific Partnership Agreement will open new opportunity for its investment in Vietnam. Nike said Vietnam is one of two countries hosting its shoes sole factories and all its football shoes wore at the World Cup tournament this year were made in Vietnam.
