(VOVWORLD) - Vietnam reported no new COVID-19 cases on Saturday morning. Among 2,571 cases confirmed so far, 2,198 have recovered and 35 have died.

No new community infections have been reported in the last 35 days in 10 localities: Hoa Binh, Dien Bien, Ha Giang, Binh Duong, Hung Yen, Bac Giang, Gia Lai, Bac Ninh, Quang Ninh, and Ho Chi Minh City. Hanoi has been free of local transmissions for 32 straight days.
By Friday, 31,000 health workers and community volunteers had been vaccinated against COVID-19.
