(VOVWORLD) -There has been no report of Vietnamese citizens killed or injured in last Monday’s earthquake that has so far killed more than 33,000 people in Turkey and Syria, Vietnamese authorities said Sunday.

The Vietnamese Embassy in Turkey and the Vietnamese Embassy in Iran concurrently in Syria said they will continue to coordinate with local authorities, the Vietnamese community, and rescue groups to monitor the situation of Vietnamese citizens.
The Vietnamese Embassy in Turkey has provided financial support to some Vietnamese families affected by the earthquake.
