(VOVWORLD) -Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said Monday that the decision about the future of the Nord Stream pipelines will be made by Gazprom and other shareholders of the project, according to the TASS news agency.

Peskov said the decision should be discussed by all shareholders as this is an international project, adding that there will be no recommendations from the Kremlin on this matter.
Reuters cited sources who said the Nord Stream and Nord Stream 2 gas pipelines will be sealed up and mothballed, following a leak which caused major damage on two Nord Stream pipelines last September.
