North Korea sends high-level delegation to Winter Olympics closing ceremony
(VOVWORLD) -North Korea will send another high-level delegation to South Korea in time for the closing ceremony of the Pyeongchang Winter Olympics.

The South's Ministry of Unification said on Thursday that the 8-member delegation will be led by Kim Yong Chol, director of the United Front Department of the Workers’ Party of Korea Central Committee, and visit for three days from Sunday. The Ministry said it expects the high-level delegation’s participation in the closing ceremony of the Games to help advance the peace process on the Korean Peninsula, including the improvement of inter-Korean relations and denuclearization. The delegation is likely to meet South Korean President Moon Jae-in during their stay, according to an anonymous source from the South’s Presidential Palace.
