(VOVworld) – The Korean Central News Agency (KCNA), quoting from North Korea’s National Defence Committee, said a dialogue cannot be held at the same time as an “invasion maneuver” alluding to the US-South Korea joint maneuvers commencing in late February.

The Committee said Pyongyang will also reconsider the resumption of Korean family reunions if South Korea continues to slander North Korea’s leader, referring to media criticism of Kim Jong-un’s recent visit to a children’s centre. The reunions are scheduled to take place in the Mount Kumgang tourist region at the same time as the joint maneuvers execution. South Korea said it is deplorable that North Korea links family reunions with military matters.
