North Korean leader assesses future talks at party meeting
(VOVWORLD) - North Korean leader Kim Jong Un chaired a Korean Workers' Party meeting on Monday where he assessed the future dialogue with the US and the development of inter-Korean relations ahead of a summit with South Korea on April 27.

In North Korea’s first mention of official dialogue with the US and the summit with Seoul, the Korean Central News Agency (KCNA) said that Kim Jong Un has set strategic and tactical issues to be upheld by his Workers’ Party.
The information came a few hours after US President Donald Trump announced his plan to meet Mr. Kim in May or early June. Trump said he hopes discussions will help the two sides reach a Korean denuclearization agreement.
