According to diplomatic sources, Pyongyang is anxious to resume negotiations between the two Koreas, the US, Russia, China, and Japan. Kim's visit to Moscow follows a visit to China last month. At meetings with Beijing officials, Kim said that Pyongyang is willing to discuss denuclearization of the Korean peninsula and asked Beijing to back the plan.
