North, South Korean leaders optimistic about 2nd US-North Korean summit
(VOVWORLD) - North Korean leader Kim Jong-un said Monday that he believes in a well-prepared 2nd meeting with US President Donald Trump.

The Korean Central News Agency reported that Mr. Kim was optimistic after meeting US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo in Pyongyang on Sunday to discuss the denuclearization process and the possibility of 2nd US-North Korean summit. Mr. Kim said he believes dialogues and negotiations between North Korea and the US will continue to flourish in the future. They agreed to hold experts-level talks to prepare for the summit.
In a meeting with Mr. Pompeo on Sunday, South Korean President Moon Jae-in said he hopes the summit will create a breakthrough in the denuclearization process and bring peace to the Korean peninsula.
