(VOVworld) – Vietnam is a promising destination for Norwegian companies in Southeast Asia and acts as an entry point to the markets of Vietnam’s free trade partners, including ASEAN. This was noted by Norwegian economists and businesses who recently attended a workshop held in Oslo by the Vietnamese Embassy in Norway and the Oslo Chamber of Commerce. The workshop was an opportunity for Norwegian companies to seek business opportunities in Vietnam through discussions between experienced Norwegian businesses and Vietnamese partners. Trade Counsellor Vu Chien Thang introduced Vietnam’s business climate and cooperation potential in maritime services, aquaculture, renewable energy, oil and gas, and information technology.
