November sees record foreign arrivals to Vietnam
(VOVWORLD) - Vietnam welcomed 1.8 million foreign arrivals in November, the highest number ever, according to the General Statistics Office (GSO). Vietnam hopes to receive 18 million foreigners this year.

The Prime Minister approved the national strategy on tourism development under which, the hospitality industry will become a real spearhead economic sector with strong competitiveness by 2030.
Vietnam will become a special and attractive destination, joining the leading tourism destinations in Southeast Asia, aiming to serve 47 million foreign visitors by 2030, according to the strategy.
