Opportunities for business cooperation between Vietnam and the Czech Republic
(VOVworld) - The Vietnam Association of Small and Medium Enterprises (VINASME) held a workshop in Prague on Wednesday to help businesses in the Czech Republic learn firsthand about Vietnam’s business climate.

VINASME Vice President and Secretary-General To Hoai Nam briefed 40 representatives from Czech business associations and enterprises about Vietnam’s business climate, SMEs operation, and potentials for cooperation between Vietnamese and Czech businesses. He said Vietnamese enterprises wished to further cooperate with Czech enterprises to penetrate European markets.
President of the Czech-Vietnam association for industry and trade, Vaclav Aubrecht said Vietnam has a competitive investment environment. He added the Czech Republic considers Vietnam a significant destination in its strategy for business development in Asia: “Czech enterprises are encouraged to go to Vietnam to study about business opportunities. Since 1997 when I first came to Vietnam, I see that Vietnam has significantly changed. Vietnam’s laws have been adjusted to be more suitable to the international ones”.
At the event, Vietnamese representatives signed cooperative agreements with Czech partners on tourism development, vocational training, machinery, agriculture and trademark promotion.
