Opportunities for Vietnam’s leather and footwear
(VOVWORLD) - Vietnam’s leather and footwear sector has a lot of advantages for development in the next 2 decades, said Diep Thanh Kiet, Vice Chairman of Footwear and Handbag Association (Lefaso).

He added that Vietnam ranks 2nd globally in export and 3rd in production of leather and footwear. Experts attended the Vietnam’s Leather and Footwear Summit in Ho Chi Minh City Wednesday agreed that despite challenges, Vietnam’s leather and footwear businesses will benefit from the government’s incentive policies and Vietnam’s FTAs with major markets in the EU, Japan, Russia, ASEAN, and CPCPP.
