Ousted South Korean President to go on trial on May 23
(VOVWORLD) -Former South Korean leader Park Geun Hye is due to go on trial on Tuesday over the corruption scandal that brought her down.

The trial is expected to last for months. It comes only two weeks after the country elected left-leaning former human rights lawyer Moon Jae In, who lost the 2012 poll to Park, as her successor.
