(VOVworld) – The Vietnam Fatherland Front held a meeting on Saturday to honor outstanding Presidents of the local Fatherland Front branches. State President Truong Tan Sang asked the Party Committee at all levels and local administrations to improve their leadership and cooperate closely with the Fatherland Front to collect and resolve people’s aspiration.

He expressed his hope that role models and patriotic emulation movements will be promoted nationwide to contribute to socio-economic development and national defense.

President Sang said: “The Vietnam Fatherland Front needs to continue strengthening its organization, improving the quality of it staff and further promoting emulation movements. The Front should protect and promote people’s right to mastery, cooperate with other social organizations to improve its supervisory and criticism roles, strengthen national unity, and fulfill its tasks of national construction and defense.”
VFF President Nguyen Thien Nhan presented certificates of merit to outstanding individuals and organizations and launched the national emulation movement the 2015-2020 period.
