(VOVworld) - Overseas Vietnamese intellectuals and experts gathered at a forum in Hanoi on Sunday, contributing their opinions to the country’s economic development and integration during the 2016-2020 period. Speaking at the forum themed “Improving Vietnam’s competitiveness in the global economy”, President of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Nguyen Thien Nhan stressed that by 2030, Vietnam aims to become a strong nation in agriculture, smart management, and tourism, with IT human resources among top 3 in ASEAN. He called for overseas Vietnamese’s continued contributions to national development.
