(VOVworld) – Vietnamese people in Ukraine have donated 17,500 USD to Vietnam’s law enforcement forces and fishermen. The fund raising drive was launched by the Vietnamese Embassy in Ukraine to call for overseas Vietnamese contributions to the defense of national seas and islands.

On Tuesday, the Vietnamese People’s Association in Vientiane handed over 7,000 USD donated by local Vietnamese individuals and organizations in support of fishermen and soldiers at home.
