Ambassador Tran Thanh Cong urged the Embassy staff and the Vietnamese community to stay vigilant against coronavirus and join the efforts of Vietnamese people in Vietnam to contain the pandemic.

In Germany, a fundraising campaign was launched in support of Vietnam’s COVID-19 fight. The October Art Club donated 2,150 euros to Vietnam’s COVID-19 vaccine fund. The Vietnam-Germany Shelter charity group and the Kinh Bac Association for Fellow Countrymen raised money to help Bac Giang and Bac Ninh, Vietnam’s current hotspots.

Their donations will be spent on face masks, face shields, and Vitamin C supplements for medical workers, quarantined poor workers and children, and poor COVID-19 patients.
