(VOVworld) – Vice Chairman of the National Assembly Uong Chu Luu has hailed contributions by embassy staff, students, and the Vietnamese community in the Netherlands to Vietnam’s construction and defence.

At a meeting with Vietnamese embassy staff on Tuesday, Mr. Luu recapped the situation in the East Sea and confirmed Vietnam’s determination to defend its territorial sovereignty using peaceful means. Luu said Vietnam is collecting legal evidence to resolve the situation under international law. Luu asked the Vietnamese embassy in the Netherlands to encourage the Vietnamese community there to continue contributing to the Netherlands and to Vietnam.
