(VOVworld) - Salah Abdeslam, the only surviving suspect of last year's Paris massacre, has told investigators that he was planning to "restart something" when he was arrested. He is a Belgian-born French citizen of Moroccan ancestry.

Belgian Foreign Minister Didier Reynders said on Sunday that authorities had found a large number of heavy weapons and network of people around him that Abdeslam had gathered. 30 people were confirmed to have connections with the Paris attack that killed 129 people while many others remain suspects. Reynders called on EU intelligence agencies, law enforcement authorities, and border guards to work together to search for the perpetrators.
