National Assembly Chairman Vuong Dinh Hue received First Officer of the Hungarian National Assembly Márta Mátrai in Hanoi on Thursday

At the meeting, Mr. Hue said the parliamentary cooperation between the two legislatures is growing with both sides coordinating and supporting each other at multilateral parliamentary forums as responsible members of the international community and contributing to maintaining peace, stability and promoting dialogue and cooperation with other countries and parliaments.

The Vietnamese top legislator urged the two sides to maintain delegation exchanges and information and experience sharing in parliamentary activities. Mr. Hue said the two sides should strengthen cooperation at multilateral forums like the Inter-Parliamentary Union, the Asia-Europe Parliamentary Partnership Meeting, and the Parliamentary Assembly of Francophonie, and work closely in overseeing the implementation of agreements signed between the two countries’ governments and ministries.
