Party chief and President pays tribute to King, plants tree at Thang Long Imperial Citadel
(VOVWORLD) - Party General Secretary and President Nguyen Phu Trong offered incense to commemorate King Ly Thai To, who established Thang Long, now Hanoi, as Vietnam’s capital, in 1010, and other national contributors at the Thang Long Imperial Citadel on Wednesday, the 6th day of the Lunar New Year.

Paying respect to the national contributors, Mr. Trong and delegates vowed to promote cultural traditions of Thang Long - Hanoi and noble values of the nation, foster the great national solidarity, and build a more wealthy, beautiful, civilized and modern country.
