He inspected the implementation of the resolution of the 11^th National Party Congress and preparations for the 12^th National Party Congress. During his visit, Mr. Trong asked local leaders to refer to central ministries’ opinions about making agriculture Soc Trang’s main development direction. He urged the province to attract more investment in the processing industry and develop its marine economy. He acknowledged Soc Trang province’s achievements in stabilizing politics, developing the economy, and taking care of people, especially Khmer ethnic people. Party leader Trong asked local leaders to prepare documents and personnel to successfully organize party congresses at all levels ahead of the 12^th National Party Congress.
