(VOVworld) – Nguyen Phu Trong, General Secretary of the Communist Party of Vietnam and Secretary of the Central Military Commission, visited the People’s Army newspaper on Monday to mark its 65^th anniversary.

Mr. Trong encouraged the newspaper to develop into a multi-media agency while upholding its motto of speaking for the Central Military Commission, the Ministry of Defense, the armed forces, and the people.
He asked the newspaper to renew itself to meet the people’s demand for diverse information, the correction of distorted information and biased views, and promote the image of the Vietnam People’s Army to the world.
