Party leader Nguyen Phu Trong concludes his official visit to China
(VOVworld) - Party leader Nguyen Phu Trong has left Kunming City, Yunnan province, for Hanoi, successfully concluding his official visit to China at the invitation of General Secretary and President Xi Jinping.

During the visit from April 7 to 10, the Party leader met with General Secretary of the Communist Party of China and President of the People’s Republic of China Xi Jinping, Premier Li Keqiang, Chairman of the National People’s Congress Zhang Dejiang, and Chairman of the Chinese People’s Consultative Conference Yu Zhengsheng to discuss ways to enhance relations between their Parties and governments. They said the visit was successful, contributing to a developing a stable and healthy Vietnam-China relationship. Party General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong and Chinese Party General Secretary and State President Xi Jinping met Vietnamese and Chinese youth during the 15th China-Vietnam youth exchange. Party General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong met with representatives from the Chinese People’s Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries, the China-Vietnam Friendship Association and a number of former Chinese experts and diplomats, who worked in Vietnam. On his way from Yunnan to Hanoi, the General Secretary sent a telegraph of thanks to Chinese Party General Secretary and State President Xi Jinping.
