(VOVworld) – On Wednesday in Hanoi, Party General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong received Cambodian Ambassador Hul Phany whose term comes to an end.

The outgoing Ambassador expressed this thank for the leaders of the Vietnamese Party, State, government and localities who have supported him during his 6-year mission in Vietnam. He promised to his utmost to nurture the traditional friendship, solidarity and comprehensive cooperation between Vietnam and Cambodia.

Party leader Trong praised the Ambassador’s role in consolidating the Vietnam-Cambodia relationship and congratulated Cambodia for its achievements in national development. He reiterated Vietnam’s unswerving policy of strengthening ties with Cambodia for the benefit of the people, for peace, stability, cooperation and development in the region and the world.
