(VOVworld) The Party leader has reiterated that Vietnam will continue to prioritize controlling inflation, stabilizing macro-economy, maintain growth rate, renew growth models and insure social security. While talking to retired senior officials of Thang Long club in Hanoi on Saturday, Mr. Trong also stressed the need to stabilize the politics, reinforce national defense and sovereignty. He urged all the Party members and people including retired staff to get involved in party building as stated in the Central Committee Resolution 4. “There is a high consensus among party members and people on the urgent tasks of party building work, which needs the involvement of each and every party member regardless of their political positions,” said Party leader Trong.
Mr. Trong praised great contribution by the retired staff to revolutions and national development. He spoke highly of the retirees' wealth of knowledge and experiences, adding that it is necessary to create favorable conditions for them to contribute more to the nation.
