Party leader: Vietnam works to deepen relations with China
(VOVWORLD) -Party General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong has reiterated Vietnam’s unswerving policy of respecting the Vietnam-China traditional friendship and working with China to deepen their comprehensive strategic cooperative partnership.

At a reception for visiting Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi in Hanoi on Friday, Mr. Trong congratulated the Communist Party of China for its successful 19th National Party Congress. He called for continued exchanges between the two countries’ leaders, Parties, and people, boost cooperation in personnel training, and strengthen practical cooperation in all fields.
Foreign Minister Wang Yi said the Chinese Party, government, and people treasure the relations with Vietnam as both countries share the destiny of strategic importance. He expected that both increase realistic cooperation for their people’s practical benefits and for peace, stability, and prosperity.
Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc received Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi in Hanoi on the same day.
