(VOVworld) – A workshop on reforming university education opened in HCM city on Tuesday. Delegates agreed that there should be a master plan, in which the state plays the central role. Universities and training centers should also be involved. Decentralization should also be encouraged to promote democracy and improve management efficiency. Phung Huu Phu, Vice Chairman of the Central Theoretical Council, said: “The country’s growth depends significantly on educational development, particularly at the university level. Educational reforms must be conducted in all schools and by all teachers and students.”
