(VOVworld) – Party General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong and Hanoian National Assembly deputies met on Friday with voters in Ba Dinh district prior to the upcoming National Assembly session. Party leader Trong briefed the voters on the session’s agenda which will include revising the constitution and amending the Land Law. He said that the vote of confidence had been an important National Assembly activity and one which had not been carried out by any other legislative body in the world. He added that the National Assembly will take voters’ opinions into consideration to improve the model of confidence vote at its next session.

Party leader Trong said that corruption is considered a national issue and that the Party and State are resolved to fight it although it requires patience, determination and resoluteness. He also agreed with the voters that legislation should be realistic and coherent.
