(VOVworld) - A photo contest themed “Vietnam today” was launched in Hanoi last week, aiming to promote the country’s tourism in the eyes of domestic and international tourists.

The contest, the seventh of its kind jointly held by the Vietnam Tourism Review under the Vietnam National Administration of Tourism and the Vietnam Association of Photographic Artists, forms part of the activities marking the 56th founding anniversary of the Vietnamese tourism sector. Eligible candidates are professional and amateur photographers at home and abroad who are encouraged to capture the beauty of land and people of Vietnam, which is mirrored through landscapes, historical and cultural relic sites, people’s daily life, customs and cuisine. Entries should be sent to Vietnam Tourism Review, 4 Lieu Giai Street in Hanoi no later than May 31, 2016.
