Pleiku deserves to be urban center of the North Central Highlands
(VOVWORLD) -The Party Committee, authorities, and people of all ethnic groups in Pleiku city, Gia Lai province, on Tuesday celebrated the 90th anniversary of the founding of Pleiku city and received the Prime Minister's recognition for completing new rural development task.

Deputy Prime Minister Vuong Dinh Hue praised Pleiku city’s great achievements in 90 years of development. The Deputy Prime Minister said Pleiku city deserves to be the central and most important urban area in the North Central Highlands.
He urged Pleiku to continue its tradition of patriotism, solidarity, and dynamics. He said: “As a center and driving force for the development of the province and city, Pleiku needs to effectively exploit and promote its potentials for development, carry out administrative reforms, improve its business investment environment, and support businesses, cooperatives, cooperative groups, and households. The province needs to pay more attention to developing the right economic structure, trade services, industry, construction, agriculture, and health care, and help Pleiku become a green city.”
