PLO vows to act against Israel's Jerusalem bill
(VOVWORLD) -The Palestine Liberation Organization (PLO) vowed on Tuesday to act against the Israeli parliament's vote to consolidate its sovereignty over Jerusalem, official Palestinian radio Voice of Palestine reported.

Saeb Erekat, secretary general of the PLO criticized the new US-Israel collaboration to abandon the two-state principle after US President Donald Trump declared Jerusalem Israel's capital. Erekat said Palestinian leadership is determined to confront all American and Israeli moves by pressing to obtain full UN membership for the state of Palestine by going to the UN Security Council, the International Court of Justice, and the International Criminal Court.
Earlier in the day, the Israeli parliament passed a bill that stipulates a vote of two-thirds of its members before the Israeli government can give up control over any part of Jerusalem.
