(VOVworld) – The Prime Minister has a proved a project to restructure state-owned enterprises with a focus given to big economic groups and state corporations in the next 5 years. The project aims to help state-owned enterprises appropriately reorganize themselves, focus more on major sectors to provide necessary goods and services to the society as well as contribute to national security and defense.

State-owned businesses are expected to play a key role to help the government regulate and stabilize the macro economy. By restructuring themselves, state-own businesses will be able to improve their competitiveness and profit percentage, fulfill their production tasks to serve social consumption and national construction and defense. According to the project, the restructuring process will be carried out comprehensively in organizational and management models, human resources, production sectors, development strategies, and markets.
