PM asks ministries of Vietnam, Laos to boost cooperative projects
(VOVWORLD) -Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc asked ministries and sectors of Vietnam and Laos to boost the implementation of cooperative programs and projects to contribute to socio-economic development of each country.

At a reception for Phet Phomphiphak, Minister and Head of the Lao Prime Minister Office, in Hanoi on Friday, Mr. Phuc praised Laos’ recent socio-economic achievements and agreed with the guest’s proposal that Vietnam share its socio-economic development management experience with Laos.
The Lao Minister extended deep condolences of the Lao Party, State, and people to Vietnam over the passing of former Party chief Do Muoi. Informing PM Phuc of Laos’ socio-economic performance, the guest said the Lao government wants Vietnam’s continued cooperation and sharing of experience in macro-economic management, including sending competent experts to work with their Lao counterparts.
