PM attends 90th Traditional Day ceremony of Hai Phong Port workers
(VOVWORLD) -Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc conferred Labor Order, third class, on staff of Hai Phong Port at a ceremony on Saturday evening to mark their 90th Traditional Day.

During the ceremony, participants reviewed the first struggle of Hai Phong workers demanding wage increase, working hour decrease, and an anti-violence workplace, which ended with a victory on November 24, 1929. The struggle has become a symbol of the revolutionary spirit of Vietnamese workers in general. Since Vietnam began the renewal process more than 30 years ago, Hai Phong Port has grown constantly. This year the volume of goods passing through the port is expected to reach 35 million tons, earning 95 million USD.
