(VOVWORLD) - Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh attended the Soc Trang Investment Promotion Conference on Thursday, which was themed “Accompanying-Cooperation-Development.”

In his address, the Prime Minister highlighted the importance of ensuring transparency, publicity, fairness, safety, efficiency and sustainability of the investment environment.
He said it’s necessary to closely follow Party guidelines for national development in transition to socialism, develop transparent institutions and an ecosystem for the investment environment, create strategic breakthroughs in infrastructure, human resources, and institutions.

He added that leaders, managers, and investors are responsible for creating the breakthroughs in this process.
Prime Minister Chinh stressed that internal resources including human resources, nature, tradition, culture, and history are the decisive, strategic, and fundamental factors while external resources are important breakthrough factors.
The Prime Minister urged for mobilizing and diversifying resources, strengthening public-private partnership, and expanding capital through bank credits, securities, bonds, and ODA.
