PM begins official visits to Russia, Norway, Sweden
(VOVWORLD) - Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc left Hanoi Monday for official visits to Russia, Norway, and Sweden at the invitation of Russian Prime Minister Dimitri Medvedev, Norwegian Prime Minister Erna Solberg, and Swedish Prime Minister Stefan Lofven.
Mr. Phuc’s visit to Russia from Monday to Thursday is meant to reaffirm that Vietnam treasures its friendship and comprehensive strategic partnership with Russia and boost bilateral ties in all fields, especially economics, trade, and investment.
The visit to Norway from Friday to Sunday will strengthen Vietnam’s friendship with the Scandinavian country and make their cooperation more effective.
The visit to Sweden from Sunday to Tuesday will further consolidate and develop the friendship and cooperation nurtured by the two countries’ leaders and people over the past 50 years.
