During his working session there, Prime Minister Chinh said he chose the Paris Pasteur Institute to visit because it is one of the agencies that have close relationship with the Pasteur Institute of Vietnam, typical of the relationship between the epidemiology sector of Vietnam and France. The Prime Minister thanked generations of leaders and staff of the Pasteur Institute in Paris for their support for Vietnam, especially recent scientific and technical support, funding, and monitoring of COVID-19 testing.
Prime Minister Chinh said one of the agendas of his official visit to France is to promote cooperation in medicine and epidemiology, making it more effective and substantive in the overall strategic cooperation between the two countries.
The Prime Minister suggested that Vietnam's Ministry of Health and the French authorities and the Pasteur institutes immediately begin to support human resource training for Vietnam and cooperate in the transfer of vaccine production technology.
