PM calls for more investment in An Giang
(VOVWORLD) - Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc has urged An Giang province to make full use of its potential as a major economic and trading hub in the Mekong Delta region.

Addressing a promotion conference in An Giang on Saturday, Mr. Phuc called on investors to focus more on the province’s rice production, aquaculture, trade, tourism, and agricultural processing. He underlined An Giang’s location which serves as a gateway to Can Tho city, HCM city and Cambodia’s capital of Phnom Penh. At the conference, An Giang authorities announced 23 investment projects with a total registered capital of 1.2 billion USD. Investors also pledged additional 4.5 billion USD in the province.
