Addressing a meeting to mark the 60^th anniversary of the procuracy sector and the 6^th Patriotic Emulation Congress on Friday, the Prime Minister praised the People’s Procuracy for its important contributions to the fight against crimes and safeguarding a peaceful life for people. He asked the prosecutors to well perform the right to prosecute and supervise judicial activities stipulated by the Constitution.

He said, “Public employees in the procuracy sector need to enhance their sense of responsibility and determination in the fight against corruption, contributing to building a healthy environment for economic development. The People's Procuracy must really be a sharp tool of the Party in the fight against corruption crimes, contributing to the protection of the Party and regime and consolidating people's trust.”

At the ceremony, Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc presented Ho Chi Minh Order to the People's Procuracy and first-class Labor Order to Le Minh Tri,  Prosecutor General of the Supreme People's Procuracy.
