(VOVWORLD) - Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh has signed a dispatch directing all localities to intensify their COVID-19 prevention and control measures.

To minimize COVID-19 deaths, he said, it is crucial to prepare necessary medical supplies and equipment, such as oxygen and respirators, and mobilize all available human resources and supplies to carry out the vaccination campaign smoothly and safely.
The Prime Minister asked localities where social distancing has been imposed to pay close attention to ensuring the supply of essential goods as well as security, safety, and social order.
