(VOVWORLD) - Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh urged stronger and more effective measures to accelerate the progress of existing naional key transport projects and implement new projects.

At a meeting of the State Steering Committee for National Key Transport Projects in Hanoi on Saturday, PM Chinh said the transport sector now has 34 large projects, and 86 important projects and component projects, noting that maximal capital has been mobilized for transportation infrastructure development, one of the country’s three strategic breakthroughs.
The PM also asked the Steering Committee to address site clearance challenges and prepare pre-feasibility and feasibility reports for upcoming projects.
