PM discusses with Ho Chi Minh City leaders solutions to COVID-19 control
(VOVWORLD) - Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh said on Thursday that authorities need to make sure social distancing will disrupt people’s lives as little as possible as when he chaired an online meeting of the Government with leaders of Ho Chi Minh City to discuss effective solutions to prevent and control the COVID-19 pandemic.

Chairman of Ho Chi Minh City People’s Committee Nguyen Thanh Phong told the meeting that the city will begin social distancing on Friday and it has prepared a sufficient stockpile of necessities and necessary transportation for its citizens.
A representative of the Health Ministry said Ho Chi Minh City, Binh Duong, and nearby provinces need to prioritize resources for pandemic hotspots, strictly implement isolation and social distancing measures, isolate those who have close contacts with COVID-19 patients at home, adapt testing to the changing epidemic situation, tighten epidemic prevention and control in industrial parks, and organize safe and effective vaccination campaigns.
