Addressing the World Economic Forum on East Asia in Bangkok on Thursday, the Prime Minister praised the significance of cooperation programs and initiatives in promoting regional growth:“East Asian countries should boost cooperation in natural disaster control policies. More priorities should be given to national preparedness against floods, saline infiltration, food security and sustainable use of river water resources. Peace, stability, security and maritime freedom are important. Related parties should resolve differences in the East Sea through peaceful means based on mutual understanding and respect in compliance with international law and the 1982 Convention on the Law of the Sea.
